things that make me happy
moments during road trips
things you see every day, but in a new way
afterthoughts that turn into something amazing
comfort food
pretty new accessories
and giant blackberries!
p.s. i completely took this idea from color me katie, my favorite feel-good blog

leaves tea? never.
I've officially been doing Project 365 for over a month. I'm really glad I decided to do this. Even though a lot of them are not very good, it's good be just be taking photos.
I also like that I'm learning more about flowers from working in the garden center. Woo!

Project 365
I've decided to begin a photo-a-day project over on Flickr. I will try to post my favorite from the week but it may be less often than that. If you want to follow everyday, I suggest checking back on my flickr for new updates!

alligator skin
Just something I played with in photoshop. It's been a while since I've done that.
I am going to try undertaking a new project. I'm not sure how it will work out so I'm not going to reveal it quite yet but I am pretty excited. I hope it takes off and garners some income for me. But it takes money to make money so hopefully I make smart decisions.
I haven't been taking as many photos of my social events as I wish I was so I am going to make a better effort to do that from now on. My main problem is not wanting to lug my giant SLR with me all the time. I used to. just fell out of it I guess.

twenty years of sleep...
In the evenings, the sun glows through my front window, and the old glass leaves a wavy pattern on the walls. The lantern-like thing is my fishbowl. It was empty at the time I took this. It is now occupied by Desmond. A picture of him will make it on here eventually.
Sometimes things happen that words cannot console.

"The air was soft, the stars so fine, the promise of every cobbled alley so great, that I thought I was in a dream."
